A brand refresh & digital experience to reflect presidential service and expertise in private aviation

Advanced Aviation Team (AAT) is a D.C.-based leader in private aviation, with roots and expertise in providing (literally) presidential-level service for political, business, and leisure travelers across the country. Founded by a previous direct of travel for the White House, AAT infuses the same white-glove approach and logistical expertise you’d expect coming out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Global leaders and some of our personal heroes expect a truly seamless, personable private aviation experience with AAT. Niftic’s mission was to bring that same level of clarity, polish, and sophistication to AAT’s brand and digital presence.
Capturing service and strategy in every detail
To reimagine AAT’s brand, Niftic began with a deep dive into their unique value: logistics mastery, white-glove service, and a people-first ethos. Through research, interviews, and workshops, Niftic uncovered what sets AAT apart in a crowded industry and how to translate that into a bold brand system.
A new messaging strategy spoke to their care, culture, and credibility. From the first flight to the 1000th, AAT operates with precision, warmth, and an attention to detail that only comes from decades of high-stakes travel planning.
A distinctive and sophisticated identity
The mark is a modern take on a classic monogram, inspired by the oval shape familiar to travelers gazing out airplane windows. A small horizontal line at the bottom anchors the mark and lifts the initials, as if they were airborne. A deep midnight palette sets them apart from other aviation companies and adds a rich, mature tone to collateral pieces.
Evoking imagination through a user experience customized to each traveler
AAT’s visual foundation centers around the idea of an effortless travel experience. The design language not only communicates AAT’s depth of knowledge in expertly managing complex or sensitive travel needs, but allows travelers to focus on what’s important to them - whether that’s getting in some extra work, socializing, or relaxing. The approachable messaging and photography signify that they have arrived and welcome travelers to be present at their locations.
Bringing focus and intention to an online system
With a refreshed visual identity in hand, it was time to expand the brand into an innovative and elevated online experience to validate the team’s expertise, build awareness, and attract new audiences. Thoughtful audience funnels, information architecture, and functional wireframing brought a robust and strategic framework, while a detailed extension of the brand identity continues to convey quality of service. The digital design system features the same unique curves and delicate line work represented in the logo mark, highlighted with sophisticated iconography and custom illustrations.
Adding delightful moments in collateral and on-board touchpoints
Beyond the site, Niftic extended the refreshed brand into a full collateral suite—pitch decks, signage, wayfinding, and more—ensuring AAT’s identity is as consistent and confident at 30,000 feet as it is on the ground. With the seamless brand extension across physical and digital channels, expect nothing less than consistent excellence at every touchpoint with the Advanced Aviation Team.
The updated AAT site eliminates any feeling of elitism and instead focuses on the people and places that matter most. It facilitates a truly unique experience guided by the most knowledgeable team in the industry. All anyone needs to do is pack their bags.
